Our People
People 1st is a charitable company limited by guarantee. Its structure is as follows:
- A Council of Members, representative of the fourteen industries and four Nations within the People 1st footprint.
- A Trustee Board of four, with the the ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of People 1st and ensuring that it is solvent, well-run and delivering in line with its Objects.
- Executive Board responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the Company.
Council of Members
Charged with the remit of representing the interests of employers and employees from across the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism sector and thereby ensuring that People 1st delivers what industry demands.
Board of Trustees
Four experienced executives elected by the Council of Members, responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the business and ensuring that the Charity's governance is of the highest possible standard.
