Industry apprenticeship boards

The apprenticeship standards for hospitality, retail, aviation and travel have been developed by employers who have also opted to have a role in maintaining their on-going quality. Therefore, apprenticeship boards, recognised by government, are established and will play an important role in making sure that the industry’s apprenticeships stay fit for purpose.

People 1st, which was nominated by employers to manage the external quality assurance process, will be accountable to the boards.
