The new-style apprenticeships have been developed by employers and state exactly what an apprentice should be able to do once they complete their programme. 

The standards form progressive career pathways, incorporating the knowledge, skills and behaviours employers have defined for today’s industry.

Seasonal apprenticeships pilot

Want to employ apprentices to work on seasonal contracts? The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) is looking for hospitality and tourism businesses to take part in a new pilot to demonstrate the need for apprenticeships for seasonal workers.
