Vocational Learning
Vocational learning encompasses the entire education and training system from schools through to lifelong learning.
People 1st's vocational learning team works with industry to set national occupational standards, develop apprenticeship and foundation degree frameworks and determine which qualifications need to be developed to meet industry needs.
To some extent, each UK country has its own education system and our work therefore takes a country-by-country approach to improving standards in training and education.
The department's work is crucial in ensuring that employers and staff have the qualifications, training and education that are fit for purpose and show clear progression routes throughout the sector.
