Next Steps

The first step is to establish the Academy Board (we currently have Shadow Board in place that has guided the development of the Academy business plan) and establish the Academy as a legal entity.

We will then begin the recruitment of key staff.

We envisage the first Academy learners to come on-line in September of this year in the five colleges chosen to launch the Academy (Bournemouth and Poole College, Westminster Kingsway, University College Birmingham, Leeds Thomas Danby and Newcastle College).

In Year 2, having laid the foundations for the Academy, we will increase our reach and the number or recognized centres offering Academy provision.
