What employers say:
“We have been working with students from UCB for several years. The university has been a great partner and we have been lucky to work with many wonderful students over that time. The fact that they are available for a 48-week placement means that they get great training and experience and we can see them visibly grow, mature and improve as students and professionals.
"Everyone we take from UCB has a good work ethic, and that in turn makes them a pleasure to train and work alongside.” - Helen Murphy, HR Consultant, Dunraven Arms Hotel
“Over the years, the Greenwich Country Club has had the pleasure of employing student interns from University College of Birmingham for their work placement year. UCB’s candidates are always prepared for the real world and keen to embrace the job market, assisting us with bartending, hosting, serving, and managing events.
"Our members thoroughly enjoy the young energy and genuine charm the students bring. The placement programme with UCB has been worthwhile to our business because it gives us a tremendous opportunity to interact with those students, plus see the growth, maturity and confidence they gain in a year, and most importantly, it fills and provides a vital role in our staffing to serve our membership.” - Eva Cimino, Membership and Communications Director, The Greenwich Country Club
