The Sector Skills Agreement is a contract between employers, government and partners. It aims to improve the performance and productivity of the sector. It is a five stage process.

The first stage of the process was to identify the skills and labour needs of the sector. This was done through detailed market intelligence - the widest ranging research on individual employers within the sector in over twenty years.

Stage one is now completed and a number of research reports are available to download.
