Having qualified with a Travel & Tourism Management Degree from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, I have enjoyed a career spanning 20+ years focusing my training, customer service, business development, account management, sales and management skills within the Tourism, Hospitality, Passenger Transport and Recruitment sectors.
I am currently employed as an Associate Lecturer based at Northern Regional College, Coleraine where I have been successfully delivering customer service training programmes in 'Welcome to Excellence' since 2007. I have a great passion for travel and tourism and am excited to be involved in the delivery of internationally renowned WorldHost suite of programmes. Excellent customer service is a vital component for the tourist industry and I look forward to sharing and enhancing a wide range of skills, knowledge and expertise to help organisations become truly world class.
With a diverse range of experience working in industry including 4 years in tourist information & retail based at the legendary Giant's Causeway, I am able to bring extensive customer service experience from a range of sectors with inspiring stories to share. I am an enthusiastic presenter who will deliver an insightful and engaging programme for all.
