In a recognition of service excellence, the teams at Cookstown Leisure Centre and Mid Ulster Sports Arena have been awarded the prestigious WorldHost Business Recognition. This achievement highlights the ongoing efforts of Mid Ulster District Council to invest in its staff’s training and development, ensuring that exceptional customer service is delivered to all visitors.

WorldHost Business Recognition is awarded to businesses that train at least 50% of their team through the internationally recognised WorldHost customer service training programme, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer service excellence. Both Cookstown Leisure Centre and Mid Ulster Sports Arena have successfully met these criteria.

At a recent awards ceremony held by Mid Ulster District Council, the awardees were celebrated for their dedication to delivering high quality service.

Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell, extended his congratulations, praising the hard work and commitment of the staff.

Numerous members of the public comment on how accommodating, approachable and pleasant we are on this Mid Ulster District Council site.
