Aim of the project
Establishing a dedicated new training facility – the Hassan Allam Vocational Academy (“the Academy”) – in order to deliver adequate learning outcomes and skills accreditation to fulfil the Company’s human resources needs.
The new Academy will deliver both foundational education and training for entry-level staff and continuing education and training for incumbent workers (to assess ongoing skills gaps and upgrade skills in line with emerging market needs). The new Academy’s core objective will be fourfold:
- To adequate supply high quality vocational skills and qualifications to meet the company’s human resourcing needs
- To stimulate participants’ employability through vocational qualifications and licences
- To ensure that training provision meets all stakeholders needs (including workers, industry and society at large)
- To monitor and adapt training provision to emerging skills needs and technological change
