People 1st has announced the shortlist for its 2017 Shine Awards, which celebrate the achievements of women working in hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism, as well as the mentors, ambassadors and businesses that are actively working to improve gender balance at senior levels.
A new report by People 1st, The performance and talent management revolution: Driving productivity in hospitality & tourism, has found that two thirds of major employers in hospitality and tourism are actively considering how to improve productivity, at a time when the only G7 countries with weaker productivity levels than the UK are Japan and Canada.

The shortlist for this year’s AA College Restaurant of the Year Award, sponsored by People 1st, has been announced, following a judging day held at the Park Plaza London Riverbank on Wednesday 28 June.
